Australia has been playing lights out all tournament, and Venezuela has lost 3 of their 4 games by at least 24 points. Australia hasn't scored less than 87 all tournament, and have played teams much stronger than Venezuela.
Skeptics might say Australia is likely to rest their starters, having already clinched a spot in the playoff rounds. But Australia just gave their starters somewhat of a rest against China, as Andrew Bogut didn't play and starting guards Patty Mills and Matthew Dellavedova each played less than 20 minutes. The Australians also need to win to clinch the second seed, which would allow them to avoid the US in the semi-finals. That's huge.
Look for the Australians to play hard tonight and dominate Venezuela.
