EA$Y MONEY RECAP: July 26, 2016

Today we batted .500 yet again. Let's take a look at what went right and what went wrong.

Cubs (-160) at White Sox

(Cubs 0-3 White Sox)

You know how I mentioned both pitchers had been on a tear but I gave the edge to Hendricks based off the fact that Shields never got enough run support? Well, Shields did only get 3 runs in support, but that's three more runs than the Cubs offense could muster up for Hendricks. White Sox win, I lose.

Rays at Dodgers Under 7.5

(Rays 2-3 Dodgers)

Archer's pitching is not to blame for letting the Dodgers get on the board in the 3rd, rather it was a poor display of fielding that got two unearned runs through to get the Dodgers an early advantage. Aside from that slip up Archer was spectacular, fanning eight batters with just 84 total pitches. Bud Norris also had no problem shutting down the Rays lineup, giving up just two hits in 6 and 1/3 innings.
