EA$Y MONEY RECAP: July 25, 2016

Sorry that I didn't get a chance to get the previews out for our daily predictions, but today was mediocre anyway going 1-1.

Rangers (-120) vs A's

(Rangers 7-6 A's)

It was a high scoring affair which was easy to predict (I was scared off by the 10.5 run line), but we lucked out with Adrian Beltre driving in a 2- run shot in walk-off fashion. Neither starting pitcher was effective as both posted WHIPs around 2.

Giants (-130) vs Reds

(Giants 5-7 Reds)

I had a good feeling about both the Giants breaking out of their slump against the right-handed DeSclafani and Jake Peavy exacting revenge against the rebuilding Reds; however, only one of two proved to be right. Peavy got shelled by the Reds as Jay Bruce showed all deadline buyers in need of a power hitter that they better move quick before they miss their opportunity. Peavy allowed 6 runs on three 2-run homers, two of which can be credited to Bruce. When your offense gives you 5 and you still lose, that's points to a bad, bad day for any pitcher.
