EA$Y MONEY RECAP: July 22, 2016

Another tough day going 0-2. Let's take a look at what went right and what went wrong.

Giants (-110) at Yankees

(Giants 2-3 Yankees)

It's never fun to lose on an error, and that's exactly what happened here. Don't get me wrong, Tanaka looked great on the mound so credit to him, but it was the best fielding shortstop in the league that lost it for the Giants tonight. Brandon Crawford is widely regarded for his defense yet committed 3 costly errors (including one that allowed the winning run to come in) to give the Yankees the win over the Giants. A combo of 4 errors and going 1-8 with RISP just isn't going to cut it and based off Bochy's reactions during the game, the Giants players were not in for a pleasant locker room visit from their skipper.

Blue Jays -1.5(+130) vs Mariners

(Blue Jays 1-2 Mariners)

As predicted, Marco Estrada came out and gave the Jays a solid outing, allowing 2 runs over the course of 6 innings of work. Where we lost this one was with the Jays bats. With just 4 hits all game long, they never gave Estrada the run support he deserved.
