EA$Y MONEY RECAP: July 19, 2016

Tonight we went 2-1 with our picks including another loss in extra innings. Let's take a look at what went right and what went wrong.

Indians (-155) at Royals

(Indians 7-3 Royals)

Exactly as we were expecting, Salazar gave the Indians a solid start. The righty allowed 2 unearned over 6 and 2/3 innings. The Indians got early runs on the board to prevent it from becoming a bullpen battle. The heart of the Indians lineup (Lindor, Napoli, and Santana) registered 2 RBIs a piece.

Astros (-155) at A's

(Astros 3-4 A's)

Keuchel had his 6th straight quality start wasted. He allowed 2 earned runs over 6 and 1/3 innings including the fact that both charged runs occurred after the ball was taken from him. Then in the bottom of the 9th, the A's managed a run on a one out double by Coco Crisp to send it to extras. Semien was the player who consistently came through late for the A's, contributing the winning run. Altuve was a force yet again, coming around to score twice while going 4 for 5 at the plate (finishing a home run shy of the cycle). The 2nd baseman is now batting a ridiculous .401 over his last 45 games.

Blue Jays (-170) at Diamondbacks

(Blue Jays 5-1 Diamondbacks)

While limiting the D'backs to one earned run over 7 innings, Aaron Sanchez both lowered his ERA even further down under 3 (2.87) and earned his 10th win of the season. Encarnacion and Donaldson had the hot bats once again, driving in 4 combined runs.
